Before Dr. Paul became Varennes' principal over 20 years ago, she was a teacher.  She has taught Kindergarten all the way through college.  She taught math and science at the high school. Dr. Paul is trained in many areas including deaf education.

Mrs. Becky Moorhead, the Assistant Principal, has been in education for 25 years.  She has taught grades 3, 4, 5, and 6.  She has served as Assistant Principal for 15 years in Anderson School District Five. She strives to help each student learn as much as possible and develop social skills so that they will be successful in life.  Her love and concern for children makes her job enjoyable each day.
