SC Ready is coming up in April and May. SC Ready is the state assessment for students in grades 3-8. This is an important assessment for students, teachers, and the school. Please review this information about testing and feel free to reach out to Mrs. Barr or Mr. Cobb with any questions.
Attendance and Out-of-School Functions:Testing will begin at the start of the school day and can last through the entirety of the day. Students should be on time for school during the dates. On-time means being in their assigned homeroom at 7:55 am. Parents need to make plans for students to not miss or be dismissed from school early on these days. This includes doctor's appointments and any other out-of-school functions. Please make all attempts to schedule these events around our testing dates.
Rest and Breakfast: It is important that ALL students are well rested/go to bed on time the night before and eat a healthy breakfast on the day of testing (at school or at home). A hot breakfast is served at school each day beginning at 6:40 am and is free to all students.
Cell Phones/Smart Watches: Cell phones and smart watches are STRICTLY PROHIBITED at school especially during testing. Students will be required to turn off and turn in all cell phones and smart watches during the time of testing and place them in a designated area. It is best to just leave these electronic items at home.
We've been working super hard this school year and our students are ready to show what they know on SCReady.
